Cardell Fergusson

Cardelle Fergusson is a multi-talented Caribbean national with a passion for entrepreneurship and youth development in general. She is currently the General Manager at Barbados Youth Business Trust (BYBT). Armed with a competent mix of education and experience, including her designation, a Certified Management Accountant (CPA-CMA) specializing in Strategic Leadership, and completing her MBA with a focus on International Marketing Communications, Brands and Relationships through the University of Leicester. Cardelle is currently dedicating much of her time and attention to working with and supporting businesses and entrepreneurs in various aspects of business development and training. She serves as a member of public/private sector technical teams working to revise and develop national and regional policy for the development of the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. She is also the Vice President of the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs- Caribbean and Canada (CAYE-C&C), a coalition of 13 business support organisations from nine Commonwealth countries that seeks to contribute to regional sustainable development by helping to increase the numbers of young entrepreneurs who grow businesses, create jobs, change lives and ensure future economic prosperity. She is also regional chair for the Youth Business Caribbean, a group of programmes supports young entrepreneurs and their businesses to grow.
