I have been deeply involved with Caribbean startups long before these types of businesses were termed startups. The most notable of these was BoomTribe/Alt Entertainment which was an entertainment media company with a presence across the Caribbean, having a highly rated TV show, radio show and website. It is this kind of experience that helped me developed a blend of skills that spans across technology, business and media. It gives me a unique insight to help startups to develop creative solutions to their problems. I have been able to advise many businesses on the best strategic approach to position themselves so that they generate the interest needed. I have also been able to share with them how to best leverage technology to streamline & grow their business. I believe that it is critical that the marketing and technology you utilise in your business is complementary and not derailing your efforts.
